The Pest Control Technician will work closely with clients to provide effective solutions while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine the best course of action.
- Apply pest control treatments using appropriate methods and materials, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
- Provide clients with information on pest prevention techniques and maintenance practices.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and client interactions.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for various pest control tasks.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential upsell opportunities for additional services such as lawn care or landscaping.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and techniques related to pest control and agriculture.
- Perform Termite Inspections
Requirements
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service benefits to clients.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for travel between job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
