Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role located on the East Side of Tucson, AZ, for a Medical Biller. The Medical Biller will be responsible for entering and processing insurance claims and ensuring accurate and timely coding using ICD-10, insurance payment posting, and aging claims research & follow up. Key responsibilities include handling insurance denials, reconciling Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial insurance-related accounts, verifying patient demographics, and collaborating with the billing supervisor to resolve claim issues and ensure revenue is captured by the provider's office.

Position has potential to grow to full-time as you learn and become proficient with the work initially given.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with ICD-10 coding
• Proven experience managing Insurance claims and working with insurance policies
• Proficiency in resolving claim Denials and implementing preventive measures
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure claim accuracy and compliance
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with insurance companies, team members and front office staff or providers
• Previous medical billing experience is highly desirable
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have experience on Windows computer and be a proficient with typing
