New Business Consultant
This position will be the primary contact for new plans to our Retirement Plan Services platform and will work closely with all internal departments to ensure a smooth transition.
Primary Duties:
- Oversee the onboarding of new plan sales (35-45 plans, depending on size and complexity)
- Complete the setup of new startups and transfer plans from start to finish
- Communicate with advisors and plan sponsors as the single point of contact
- Schedule the plan transfer
- Train the new plan sponsor how to submit payroll contributions
- Assist with plan design and general setup questions
- Oversee the plan setup in PensionPro, plan documents and enrollments
- Enhance customer satisfaction by providing distinctive service in all interactions
- Receive direction from multiple stakeholders/departments
- Continually look for opportunities and make recommendations to improve product, delivery and overall implementation experience
Qualifications:
- Education—Bachelor’s degree preferred, QKA credential required, TGPC designation preferred
- Experience—2-5 years of combined plan onboarding and/or TPA experience
- Computer Operations—advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Windows. Preferred prior experience with Pension Pro and/or Relius software
- Demonstrated organizational abilities and attention to detail are vital.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and keep track of multiple assignments/projects
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work with many different plan types
- Must be thorough with an ability to follow procedures
- Exceptional customer relationship building skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical capabilities for advanced problem-solving
- Ability to display good judgment
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop trusted relationships and find creative solutions
Hours Worked:
- Primary hours will be normal business hours (8-5) working 40 hours per week
- During busy seasons (end of year/beginning of year), overtime may be necessary, and time off will be limited
