Position Summary
The Internal Sales Consultant will be responsible for assisting with client engagement, supporting agents with sales activities, and providing accurate and timely information regarding life insurance products. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a structured, goal-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in presenting and explaining life insurance products to clients
- Support sales representatives with lead follow-up, appointment scheduling, and proposal preparation
- Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Conduct initial needs assessments to identify suitable product recommendations
- Maintain accurate client records in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve agency production goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience preferred NOT required)
- Prior experience in sales, financial services, or customer service is an asset (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team success
