Construction Analyst
Full-Time | On-Site preferred but will consider Hybrid/Remote

About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Construction Analyst to manage our construction loan process from start to finish. This role is the main point of contact for builders, borrowers, inspectors, and internal teams throughout the construction phase. If you enjoy organization, communication, and keeping complex projects on track, this is a great fit.
Responsibilities:
- Review construction contracts, plans, specs, and budgets for completeness prior to underwriting.
- Coordinate required documentation with loan officers, builders, and the closing team.
- Validate builder approval documentation (licenses, insurance, references, etc.) and track expiration dates.
- Work within the software program to set up and maintain project budgets; track changes and process approved change orders.
- Serve as the primary contact for all construction draw requests.
- Review draw submissions for accuracy and required documentation.
- Order and track inspections needed for draw releases.
- Reconcile draw requests to the approved budget and authorize release of funds.
- Monitor construction progress, timelines, and project milestones.
- Identify and escalate delays or risk factors to management.
- Ensure final inspections, COs, and title updates are completed
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred but not required). Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Experience in construction lending, draw administration, mortgage operations, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction budgets and project documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with builders, borrowers, and internal staff.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages simultaneously.
- Familiarity with mortgage LOS systems Encompass and/or Built construction platforms is a plus.
