Integrity Forest Products, a custom saw mill located in Kenton, MI, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robbins, located in Ishpeming MI. The Sawmill Machine Operator is responsible for operation of a variety of equipment, general machine and building maintenance functions related to the sawmill production facility.

Machine Operator ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Include, but not limited, to the following.
- After training be comfortable and able to serve as the Loader Operator
- Perform a variety of machine operations, cleaning, and assisting with repairs of equipment.
- Perform frequent checks to assure machine is producing material to spec.
- Adjust machines operated to maintain spec product.
- Identify maintenance related issues, assist and offer solutions.
- Train and understand all manufacturing equipment at IFP Facility.
- Ability to obtain a forklift / loader license and certification and operate as needed.
- Ability to follow Preventative Maintenance program in place to grease, inspect, and maintain the machinery and building.
- Have detail to keep a clean and organized work area.
- Help on projects when needed.
- Ability to use powered hand tools correctly and safely
- All other duties as assigned

- Ensure that all team members assisting you are working safely and responsibly at all times
- Perform lock out/tag out/ hot work permits on various projects/repairs
- Work with team members to identify and resolve any known safety issues
- Communicate with Team Leads and Safety Coordinator on any/all safety items and their resolution
MACHINE OPERATOR Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to an environment consistent with working outdoors in various weather conditions and in an industrial manufacturing environment. There will be wood dust, grease, and welding fumes in this job classification. The noise level in the work environment is usually high. Physical demands include but are not limited to bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting, climbing, crawling, reaching, standing, walking and use of hand and foot controls. Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 75 lbs frequently. Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools, drives and forceful grip tools.
