What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide position at Integrity Back and Brain?
Looking for an energetic, self-motivated person who is looking for a flexible, educational job that offers experience with a spinal cord injury patient. This position offers a consistent schedule with starting pay of $18 an hour. It includes paid training in a clinical setting with a medical professional and the patient's caregiver and wife. No prior experience is required but is highly preferred. You must have a genuine desire to help people in need to be a good fit for this position. Please ensure you meet the requirements of the position before applying such as: employment history must be up to date and a job must be held within the last year, reliable transportation along with a valid auto insurance, and a personal cell phone for communications with the company.
This private duty home care position is in Irmo, SC. The patient is in his own home and requires assistance with daily living. The shifts available are Monday ,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:00pm-8:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. Please share your availability when applying.
This patient suffered a spinal cord injury and TBI (traumatic brain injury) over 30 years ago. Additionally, he has been affected in other areas such as memory loss and a loss of hearing in one of his ears. He follows a regimented schedule every day that you will assist him to get through. The schedule includes regular daily living tasks including assistance with exercises and range of motion. You will be assisting with these daily at-home therapies and also helping with brain stimulation such as playing games or reading. You must be patient, kind, prompt and organized to be a good fit for this position. You also must be willing to work according to the established care plan.
