HHA - Home Health Aide

We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in a patient's home in accordance with an established care plan in Laingsburg, MI.
Responsibilities
- Provide health care services in patients' residence
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Transport and accompany patient to doctors office or to hospital
- Assist with client's personal care including bowel program and catheterization
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises if needed
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Skills
- Proven working experience as home health aide preferred
- Ability to monitor vital signs
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proficiency in English
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Current CPR certificate (or complete upon hire)
- First Aid training (or complete upon hire)
- Valid driver’s license
- High school degree or equivalent
We are looking to hire one person that is available 2 Saturdays a month for Night shift (8 p.m.-7:30 a.m.) . You will be working with a quadriplegic male in his own home.
There is no experience necessary, we will train you for the position! However, some home care or caregiving experience is preferred.
You MUST be able to pass a background check and have a good driving record!
The job starts out at $17.00 per hour for the first 90 day probation period. This includes paid training. After 90 days pay increases to $17.50.
