Experienced Auto Body Paint Technician

Integrity Auto Paint is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Paint & Body Technician to join our team. Duties

• Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Apply primers, paints, coatings, and clear coats using conventional spray guns or airless paint spraying equipment with precision and consistency
• Perform surface repairs, including dent removal, filling, and sanding to achieve smooth, flawless finishes
• Use hand tools, grinders, power tools, and welding equipment to assist in auto body repairs and auto restoration projects
• Conduct auto detailing and buffing to enhance vehicle appearance post-painting and refinishing processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols such as respiratory protection standards
• Assist in auto glass replacement or repair as needed during the refinishing process

Skills

• Proven dealership experience or professional auto body repair background with a focus on auto painting and refinishing
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto restoration, and surface preparation techniques
• Proficiency with hand tools, grinders, sanders, buffing machines, and power tools used in automotive refinishing
• Expertise in automotive buffing, sanding, masking surfaces for painting, and applying coatings with spray guns or airless sprayers
• Knowledge of automotive surface preparation including cleaning, priming, sanding, and masking for optimal paint application
• Ability to operate welding equipment safely when necessary for auto body repairs or structural work
• Familiarity with automotive paints, coatings, primers, and finishing products along with proper handling procedures including respiratory protection measures
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repair progress and quality expectations
• Auto estimating skills are a plus for assessing repair scope and materials needed
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during the repair process

Pay: $22.00 - $55.00 per hour
