Position Summary:  

As an IT Intern, you will work with a safety-first team to provide support to the Company by organizing customer data into a centralized location and free up cloud storage locations by moving cloud data to an external storage location.

 Key Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Move and archive unused data maintained in the cloud to external storage location.
  • Copy and archive data stored on external hard drives.
  • Work with operations to retrieve individual cloud stored data and move to appropriate storage locations.
  • Develop a process for the Company to consistently move cloud data to external storage archive location.
  • Other projects as assigned.
  • Actively participates in JSA and uses all necessary steps to complete tasks safely and ensures the safety of others working in the area.
  • Communicates with all levels of management and crew to effectively present any needs and changes.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Must be able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate organizational ability through time management and scheduling
  • Act in professional manner with coworkers and customers.
  • Must display customer focused mindset while completing projects in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Ability to adhere to a written method or procedure.
  • Confidence to STOP work immediately when a problem is identified.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products, preferred.    
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

 Management Responsibilities: 

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities. 
Qualifications:

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications): 

  • Must be in second or third year of a college accredited IT program.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Six months experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Current Driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

Environmental/Working Conditions

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Participation in field audits can be required.
  • This position will be remote.

Other Considerations/Requirements:

  • Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program. 
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • May be required to travel to field and/or office locations. 
  • This position may require overtime/weekend/off-hours.
