We are currently seeking Automotive Technicians of all experience levels to join our high-performing team at San Antonio Location.
Position Overview
As an Automotive Technician, you will primarily work in a shop environment while collaborating closely with service advisors and occasionally interacting with the front office. This role requires a strong commitment to quality, communication, and customer-first service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections and deliver outstanding Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) with a focus on transparency and customer trust
- Accurately document all findings for maintenance and repair using shop management software
- Communicate diagnostic results and recommended repairs clearly to service advisors
- Support advisors in educating customers on the condition of their vehicle (the good, the bad, and the urgent)
- Complete approved repairs efficiently using quality parts, ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable upon delivery
- Track parts orders, verify accuracy upon arrival, and manage core returns when required
- Maintain detailed repair documentation using the Concern, Cause, Correction (CCC) format
- Provide timely updates on repair status to ensure clear communication between team members and customers
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional shop environment at all times
- Foster a positive team atmosphere and support overall shop morale
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of technician experience or relevant automotive schooling (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- ASE certifications are encouraged but not required
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset
