Assumes responsibility and accountability for clinical development and coordination of the Certified Stroke Program a. Will work with the Medical Director to develop evidence-based protocols, provide and compile outcome data and maintain stroke quality measures and NIHSS reliability. Assists with the implementation of acute care and rehabilitation of patients with stroke. Provides education to patients and/or family members as well as hospital caregivers. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of clinical experience
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
- RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association upon hire
- National Stoke Certification Issued by American Association of Neuroscience Nurses or American Association of Neurovascular Clinicians within 24 months of hire date
SKILLS:
- Excellent in interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication and collaboration skills
Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in ED/ICU neurological nursing
