The Impact You'll Make
As our Field Sales Representative, you'll be the face of our brand in the field--connecting with customers, understanding their unique lifting and rigging needs, and delivering solutions that keep their operations running smoothly. Your work will directly impact safety, productivity, and trust in industries where precision and reliability are non-negotiable.
What You'll Do
- Develop and grow a territory by building strong, long-term relationships with contractors, industrial clients, and marine operators.
- Provid marketing literature to current and potential customers and follow up on leads generated by marketing activities.
- Receive requests by phone or email for price quotations/verifications.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess customer needs and recommend tailored rigging and lifting solutions by answering questions regarding product line, prices, delivery times, warranty periods, customer service, credit/financing arrangements, and providing product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with our technical and service teams to ensure accurate product specifications and timely delivery including following up with customers to determine satisfaction and resolve any concerns.
- Reviews questions or concerns with the Corporate Sales & Marketing Director; Discusses unique product configurations/problems with the President, Corporate Sales & Marketing Director, District Manager, and Production as necessary.
- Attend industry trade shows, safety seminars, and customer events to represent our brand and stay ahead of market trends.
- Submit reports to Corporate Sales & Marketing Director, weekly activity, lost sales, forecast opportunities, with the goal of meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Assists new clients in preparing and processing credit/financing paperwork; ensuring the Credit Department receives all documentation and following up with client once the account is established.
What You'll Bring
- Proven 5 years success in outside sales--experience in rigging, lifting, industrial supply, or related industries is preferred.
- A solid understanding of rigging hardware, wire rope, synthetic slings, and load testing (or a willingness to learn quickly)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a consultative sales approach.
- Self-motivation and discipline to manage your own schedule and territory effectively.
- A valid driver's license and ability to travel within your assigned region.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to read and understand basic customer purchase agreements to conduct business.
