Project Manager, Solar, Commercial Rooftop

Position Overview

Integreat Solutions has partnered with an electrical contractor client in New Haven, Connecticut, to identify a Project Manager to lead commercial rooftop solar projects from pre-construction through closeout.

This role will oversee scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and client communication to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. While prior solar experience is strongly preferred, this role is trainable for a strong construction Project Manager with the right mindset and leadership abilities. A NABCEP certification is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial rooftop solar projects from kickoff through final commissioning
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client communication
• Track change orders, RFIs, and project documentation
• Identify and proactively mitigate project risks

Qualifications

• 3 years of project management experience in construction, electrical, or renewable energy
• Experience with commercial projects preferred
• Solar or photovoltaic (PV) experience strongly preferred
• NABCEP certification is a plus
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and construction processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $85,000 – $115,000 base salary
