We are a boutique Otolaryngology (ENT) private practice dedicated to providing top-tier patient care on Long island. As we continue to improve and grow our practice, we seek an Office Manager with experience in medical office management to oversee daily operations, financial performance, and strategic growth.
Position Summary:
The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing and assisting in all aspects of the administrative, financial, and operational functions of the practice. This individual will work closely with the physician-owner to improve efficiency, strategise and implement growth initiatives and ensure a high-quality patient experience and staff work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operations Management: Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, staffing, and patient flow optimization.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee revenue cycle operations, including billing, collections, expense control, and budgeting.
• HR & Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise office staff; ensure a positive work culture and high performance.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Negotiate and oversee contracts with vendors, insurers, and service providers.
• Technology & EMR Optimization: Oversee the efficient use of the practice’s EMR and other technology solutions.
• Strategic Growth & Patient Experience: Identify opportunities for practice growth, streamline workflows, and enhance patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• 4 years of medical practice management experience (ENT or related specialty practice preferred).
• Understanding of billing, coding, and revenue cycle management.
• Experience with staff leadership, HR policies, and performance management.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on efficiency and patient satisfaction.
