Full Time Mental Health Counselor for Private Practice

We are looking for a dynamic individual with an Ohio LPC, LPCC, or LISW license (no LSW at this time; we don't have supervisors) to join our team of contracted therapists in our private practice for full-time work in our Cherry Grove office. Contractors must work 18 hours to be considered full-time. We are currently not hiring part-time therapists.

We are specifically looking for therapists who will see children and families, as well as adults. Christian counselors are a plus.

Integrative Counseling Solutions is a private counseling agency for families, couples, individuals, and children, offering in-person and occasional Telehealth appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provides empathetic support to clients.
• Expressive therapy experience is a plus.
• Use of tactile, visual, or auditory approaches is a plus.
• Collaborate with care coordinators, PCPs, psychiatrists, school administrators, and other professionals involved in the client's treatment.
• Keeping records and using reporting tools. (Therapy Notes)
• Develops and maintains treatment plans and services for better management of care.
• Diagnoses and treats mental and emotional disorders according to DSM-5
• Develops release plans, transitions to other service providers, and termination letters.
• Participate in and run group therapy for children and/or adults.
• Monitors, evaluates, and documents progress for clients and families.
• Administer the Ohio Scales, Mental Health Status Report, and Suicide scales.
• Work well with a team approach
• Be willing to use a telehealth system for HIPAA-compliant chat if requested.

Required Education

The counselor will have a current LPC, LPCC license issued by the state of Ohio with a minimum of a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or similar art. Specialty is a plus, such as: specialty with children, couples, and families, EMDR, DBT
