What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at Integrative Behavior Analysis?
About us
We are a small practice specializing in early intervention services for children with Autism. We use the Early Start Denver Model and focus heavily on play-based/naturalistic teaching through joint activity routines. We value and honor assent and use a compassionate approach to behaviors. Our mission is to meet the child where they are at and teach developmental skills through their interests and relationships with their therapist.
Job Description:
- Implement behavior plans for a child as written by BCBA
- Work with a child 1:1 to increase skills across developmental domains
- Collecting and graphing data
- Completing session notes
- Communicating with each child's team of therapists, caregivers, teachers, etc.
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
This position is in-clinic but you may be asked to sub in-home if needed.
Requirements:
- RBT certification
- 1 year or more of experience working with children in any capacity
- BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Willingness to receive a background check and able to pass
- Passion for working with children and advancing within the field
- Optimistic, fun, & energetic personality
