Title: Manufacturing Test Technician
Location: Costa Mesa, CA 92626 Onsite
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Pay: $29/hr (1st Shift)
Schedule:
- Now–September: 1st Shift, Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- From September: 2nd Shift, Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (shift differential applies)
Overtime: Optional before shift start.
Top Skills: Strong test experience, Electrical Engineering background, and high-voltage experience (480V preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair test fixtures and equipment.
- Support Test Engineers to ensure equipment reliability and quality standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance and workflow/administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and maximize equipment uptime.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree/certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Technical Trade School, Military Technical Training, or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of related test/electronics maintenance experience.
- Experience with 480V high-voltage testing is a strong plus.
- Proficient with electronic test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes), hand tools, and soldering.
- Basic MS Word and Excel skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
- Good color vision for identifying color-coded wiring and cables.
