Supply Chain Planner

Job Title: Flow Controller

Duration: 06 Months

Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Location: Tualatin, OR 97062

Pay Rate: $41.00/Hour on W2 (Without benefits)

Position Overview:

• In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a continuous and efficient flow of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies to support production operations.
• You will manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across purchasing and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a continuous flow of incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies.
• Manage supplier contacts and networks using the Supply Side Platform Portal (purchasing database).
• Oversee the replenishment backlog, including the creation and rescheduling of purchase orders.
• Coordinate Open Purchase Order (PO) Management and Order Scheduling.
• Manage the upstream backorder portfolio and component shortages to ensure material availability.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance using established KPIs; collaborate with suppliers on late orders and confirmation details.
• Take daily action on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) messages and escalate recurring issues as needed.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and Short Interval Management (SIM).

Qualifications:

Education:

• Engineering degree preferred (or equivalent experience and skills).

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is desirable.
• Experience performing cost analysis, including Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Technical Skills:

• Proficient computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
• ERP experience (SAP preferred).

• Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• ERP experience (SAP preferred); system training can be provided for other platforms.
