Title: Process Engineer I
Location: Memphis, TN (Onsite)
Position Summary:
As a Process Engineer I, you will develop and improve manufacturing processes supporting high-quality orthopaedic medical devices. You will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize production, validate equipment, and drive cost reduction and process efficiency initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new or improved manufacturing processes.
- Partner with Quality, Production, and Maintenance on process optimization and troubleshooting.
- Perform and document equipment/process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Create and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects.
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts.
- Collect and analyze process data to identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Experience or internship in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma tools.
- Familiarity with CAD and validation documentation (IQ, OQ, PQ).
