Job Title: Media Coordinator
Location: Miami, FL – Hybrid
Contract Duration: 6 Months of contract
Pay Rate: Up to $30/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a Media Coordinator to support a Programming & Creative Operations team responsible for the planning, scheduling, promotion, and performance analysis of television and digital content.
This role combines media operations, programming coordination, content analysis, creative production support, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will work closely with Programming, Creative, and Marketing teams to maintain accurate programming schedules, reconcile traffic logs, track ratings performance, manage promotional assets, and support the development of on-air promotional campaigns.
The position is ideal for someone with a background in media and entertainment, marketing, advertising, or creative operations who is comfortable working across programming platforms and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain official program schedules using programming platforms such as Broadview.
- Time and reconcile traffic logs using IPROMO to support accurate scheduling and broadcast execution.
- Screen potential content from sister networks to identify programming opportunities.
- Input and maintain ratings data in DEAL for performance tracking and analysis.
- Review and evaluate footage to identify compelling sound bites for on-air promotional campaigns.
- Log and manage promotional assets in CAT to ensure accuracy and organization.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud applications to support promotional production and content development.
- Research and identify appropriate graphics, music, imagery, and footage to enhance promotional content and audience engagement.
- Collaborate with Programming, Creative, and Marketing teams to ensure promotional content aligns with brand standards and strategic objectives.
- Support creative production activities including light video editing, thumbnail creation, graphic development, and pulling clips or assets from existing content.
- Support programming implementation and future programming planning initiatives.
- Contribute to social media initiatives, with an emphasis on platforms such as YouTube.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience using programming or media planning platforms such as Broadview, WideOrbit, or similar systems.
- 5 years of experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere/Premiere Pro.
- Experience creating short-form video clips, shorts, thumbnails, and marketing assets.
- 5 years of short-form copywriting experience.
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant creative and/or copywriting work is required.
- Experience working in Media & Entertainment, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- Familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and strong collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Kids Marketing or Kids Media.
- Experience tracking, researching, and analyzing social media trends.
- Experience supporting television programming, on-air promotions, or broadcast media operations.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphics, Advertising, or a related field.
