The Tactical Software and Autonomy Solutions (TSAS) team at i3 supports USSOCOM Headquarters in Tampa, FL in developing cutting-edge autonomy software architectures to distribute autonomous control across a diverse assortment of uncrewed air, ground, surface, and subsurface platforms. The team is seeking a Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expert in Uncrewed Systems (UxS) with 10 years of professional experience to assist in managing the execution of cutting-edge UxS system development projects at i3 in support of various DoD customers.

- The candidate will work onsite with a Government Program Management team to organize and facilitate communications across multiple interconnected systems engineering teams executing work toward several DoD customer requirements.
- The candidate will organize meetings, provide subject matter expertise support to customers and systems engineering teams, and interface with government customers and contractor teams to ensure overall team success on the project.
- Candidate will engage with a wide variety of engineers and customers to develop collaborative plans and schedules and execute systems design in support of collaboration among a variety of UxS platforms.
- Candidate will organize and facilitate Technical Exchange Meetings across a range of vendor partners.
- Candidate will write and conduct reviews of comprehensive task planning documentation for upcoming feature development.
- Candidate will document due outs discussed during meetings and provide reminders to the teams to ensure completion of tasks.
- Candidate will help interface between customers, vendor partners, and teams executing tasks.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
- CONUS Travel required Up to 25%
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Have a Bachelor of Science degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred).
- Ten or more years of relevant experience to the position.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required. Candidates must have the ability to maintain the clearance.
- Candidate must be located in, or willing to relocate to the Tampa, FL area.
- Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn.
- Must have experience working on or leading software and systems engineering teams.
- Candidate must have experience establishing good configuration management and product lifecycle practices.
- Candidate must have extensive experience with Cameo and MBSE modeling practices using modeling tools to model complex systems using SysML, and/or UAF.
- Experience working in a DoD environment.
- Experience interfacing with customers.
- Experience with requirements development and management.
- Familiarity with Digital Engineering Environments (DEE) for development, testing and deployment of systems.
- Familiarity with Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools and concepts.
- INCOSE SEP or OCSMP Certification
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile processes.
- Strong background in organization and technical project management.
- Experience with remote controlled boats, vehicles, or planes is a plus.
- Familiarity with UxS command and control message formats (ex. STANAG-4586, UCI, MAVLink).
- Experience with next generation C2 architectures and data sets for the DoD.
