i3 is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the defense industry with experience in managing complex programs and leading teams.

- Provide subject matter expertise on respective requirements and standards.
- Instill best practices, ensure designs meet requirements, and responsible for delivering high-quality services.
- Directly oversee project management, managing of technical teams, weapons systems modernization, and interfacing/briefing Corporate Executives and DoD customers.
- Lead program change management and the resulting cost and schedule modifications appropriately with internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for the overall development life cycle for the environment and the ability to manage complex projects on schedule and within budget.
- Work with customers, senior officials, and engineers to develop a strategy and road map that provides compelling and value-add innovations and new capabilities.
- Instill best practices, ensure designs meet requirements, and responsible for delivering high-quality services.
- Formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise contractor personnel and communicate policies, purposes, and goals to the organization.
- Organize, direct and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities.
- Responsible for all staffing decisions, skill mix, and assessments.
- Align with strategic goals and objectives of the Portfolio.
- Responsible for growth, development, and nurturing of people, programs, capabilities, and execution activities.
- Be responsible for the business development within current customer base and/or for new customers.
- Be an advocate within the team for maintaining the i3 culture and embodying i3 core values.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 20 years of experience surrounding the defense industry is required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs that include multiple subcontractors, material vendors, and demanding customers throughout their lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to manage costs on a multimillion-dollar design and development program to include ETCs, EACs, and other cost accounting methods.
- Demonstrated ability leading and developing cross functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience with risk management.
- An active DoD Security Clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance is required.
- DoD Proposals experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required at minimum.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Knowledge of office administration and procedures.
- Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully.
