🚀 We’re Hiring: Principal Electrical Engineer | Huntsville, AL

i3 is looking for an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team in Huntsville and support the development, integration, and testing of advanced electrical systems supporting military modernization efforts.

This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong emphasis on circuit board and system-level design, covering technologies such as:

🔹 PCB/PCBA design and analysis

🔹 Analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics

🔹 Embedded processors and microcontrollers

🔹 FPGA design

🔹 Software and firmware development

🔹 Power and communication interfaces

🔹 Board bring-up, integration, troubleshooting, and testing

The engineer will have the opportunity to work throughout the full product lifecycle—from initial concepts and reverse engineering existing hardware through design, fabrication, system integration, test, and final delivery.

Key qualifications include:

• 12–17 years of relevant technical experience

• Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

• Strong PCB/PCBA and embedded hardware experience

• C/C programming experience

• Hands-on laboratory, troubleshooting, and test experience

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

• U.S. citizenship required

Experience with Altium Designer, RF signal chains, DSP, sensors, high-speed mixed-signal systems, or electronic safe-and-arm/munitions systems is also valuable.
