Job Overview
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Picker/Packer, where your energy and attention to detail will drive our order fulfillment process. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. This will include product intake, shipping along with customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick orders using RF scanners and order picker equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Pack products securely, utilizing proper packaging techniques to prevent damage during transit
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other mechanical tools safely and effectively
- Load and unload shipments with attention to safety protocols and proper handling procedures
- Conduct quality control checks on picked and packed items to meet company standards
- Maintain organized stock levels through stocking, inventory management, and updating the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including documentation, labeling, and verifying inbound/outbound shipments
- Follow manual handling procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to ensure safety
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, or related roles with a focus on picking & packing
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes
- Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently
- Experience in shipping & receiving procedures with attention to quality control standards
- Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, heavy lifting techniques, and hazard awareness
This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a fast-paced warehouse environment who are self-motivated. You will receive training when starting in the warehouse, eventually you will work at your own station heading the pick and pack department.
Pay and Benefits
Full time hourly position of 40 hours or more per week.
Paid Holidays after 60 days of continuous employment
Reviews after 60 days and yearly thereafter.
1 day of PTO for every month of employment up to 10 days PTO per year and paid sick days
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
