Looking for Class A drivers for a local, home daily position hauling rail freight between major railyards and customers within a 250-mile radius of Toledo, OH. This is a high-activity, steady account with strong earning potential and no-touch freight.
What You’ll Do:
- Run freight to/from rail yards in Toledo & North Baltimore, OH (plus Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Michigan)
- Haul general commodities, including food-grade freight (40–50% pork products)
- Operate 53’ containers with NO TOUCH freight
- Work within a 24/7 operation
Pay & Earning Potential:
- Average $75,000-$83,000/ year
- $38 per drop/hook (avg. 15–20 per week)
- $51 per live load/unload
- $25 extra per Hazmat load
- $75 per Canada border crossing (optional)
- $20/hour for delays, breakdowns, and training
- Paid training (up to 2 weeks)
Work Schedule:
- Thursday – Monday
- Start time: 2:00 PM
- 10–12 hour shifts (average ~10 hours)
- HOME DAILY
