Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to support across the production lifecycle – from raw material receipt to final product acceptance. This hands-on role supports both clean room and production floor operations and plays a vital part in maintaining our quality system and exceeding customer expectations. Acts as focal for interplant communication. Intec has a team-based culture focused on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct visual, dimensional, and First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer specifications (including Boeing D6 series)
· Use precision inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges for dimensional verification
· Document results and maintain traceability in accordance with internal procedures and AS9102 standards for FAI
· Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
· Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production to maintain compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and OEM standards
· Document results, nonconformances, and assist in root cause/corrective action processes
· Perform calibration/verification of in-house equipment (general tools, autoclave, and environment, etc.)
· Support continuous improvement and participate in internal audits and quality initiatives
· Preparation of certificates and shipping documentation issues Certificate of Conformance (C of C)
· Assist as required with internal and external audits
· Perform computer input operations as required. Familiarity with software-based inventory management and control systems (MRP/ERP)
Preferred Qualifications
· 2 years of aerospace quality inspection experience, ideally in composite manufacturing
· Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and Boeing documentation requirements
· Experience inspecting composite structural and ducting components
· Working knowledge of FAI, AS9102 forms, and dimensional inspection
· Prior experience with ultrasonic NDT is a plus
· Boeing or Airbus supplier experience strongly preferred
· Experience/training in interpretation of manufacturing drawings and GD&T
· Experience using Microsoft Office products.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
· Ability to stand for extended periods (8 hours), lift up to 50 lbs, and bend/reach as needed
· Comfortable inspecting in varying light conditions, including clean room environments
· Work performed on production floor and in clean room/autoclave areas
