We have opening for a Full-Time Barista at a College in the Long Beach area.

Job Requirements Include:

• The qualified candidate must have minimum of 6 months experience working in a coffee chop setting, working with an espresso machine, and prior cash-handling.

Job Duties Include:

• Assists customers in the Cafe during rush period, ringing up customer orders using appropriate cash handling techniques and operating the POS system
• Does preparatory work for upcoming menus as assigned by the Manager; assisting with preparation of food for the Cafeteria
• Prepares brewed coffee during peak times; prepares customer drinks (hot and cold) as ordered.
• Assisting with the cleanliness of the cafeteria and eating area
• Stocks items in both the retail reach-in refrigerator to include water bottles and fresh fruit, as well as sugar, stir straws, creamer and other condiments

The qualified candidate should be organized, a self-starter, detail oriented, punctual and have good people skills. They should demonstrate a positive, encouraging and teamwork attitude. They must maintain a professional appearance.
