Our company is seeking an expert-leader who is a noted authority in DoD Acquisition, Hanscom AFB business, Engineering, Program Management. Engineering and Management experience to scale of $5-20M programs and ability to lead study scoping, project design and funding, project management, procurement, installation and site acceptance testing of engineering focusing on prototype system leading to an Initial Operating Capability. In particular, we are looking for nationally known candidates who are self-starters, thought leaders, with a willingness to work together with others in a multidisciplinary setting to solve challenging technical problems. Some travel required.

Job Description
This position will:

- Formulate and lead DoD/AF concepts, designs and offerings
- Lead the planning, experimentation, measurements, data analysis, and publication in forums and in general publications of relevance to the field.
- Evaluate and instrument likely solutions and work with team toward integration, configuration, operations, and maintenance of the system
- Work inside of DoD systems engineering processes, procedures, and best practices
- Provide engineering expertise to activities such as development, testing, evaluating, training and configuration management in support of programs
- Provide technical support to evaluate and integrate new capabilities
- Work with system, hardware, and software teams to design solutions to meet requirements
- Work with test team to ensure that the solution meets program requirements
The successful candidate will have:

- Relevant national presence and presentation experience
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Active secret clearance
Required Experience and Skills:
- Deep AF/HAFB knowledge and insights
- Operational experience in prototype to production EW systems
- Graduate degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven DoD/Academic/Technical credentials
- Thought leader in Engineering
- 10 years USG & Industry experience
- Technical expertise in instrumentation
- Ability to travel internationally
- Ability and motivation to work with minimal direction
- A 2nd degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
- C3BM insights and PEO structure knowledge
- Internationally recognized credentials or referred journal or paper publications
- Forum/Session leadership at national DoD/AF meetings
- Lead system, hardware, and software teams to design solutions to meet requirements
- Lead test teams to ensure that the solution meets program requirements
- 20 years USG experience and Industry experience combined
- Experience with USG/Industry/FFRDC partners
- Ability to travel internationally
- Ability and motivation to work with minimal direction
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions
- Proactive, self-motivated and self-directing; able to drive deliverables and results which involves people who do not always report to you
- Active TS, and a former AF officer with acquisition experience
