We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Office Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within office spaces, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, relevant janitorial experience, and a commitment to quality service.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal in office areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, breakroom, common areas, offices and conference rooms according to established standards.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing and polishing to preserve flooring quality.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial cleaning environments preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards.
