Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Armed Security Officer to join our team for Connecticut Temple Services during High Holy Holidays & Special Events. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of event attendees, staff, and property through religious services being held during Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur Holidays
Duties
- Monitor event premises continuously.
- Manage access control systems to verify credentials and permit authorized entry while preventing unauthorized access.
- Perform detailed incident report writing to document any security breaches, disturbances, or safety concerns accurately.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing established procedures such as first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols.
- Handle conflict de-escalation with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to resolve disputes peacefully.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during incidents requiring background checks or law enforcement support to ensure compliance with security regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on physical security and incident management.
- Connecticut Guard License & Blue Card
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with emergency
- response procedures a plus.
- Strong communication skills for incident report writing, customer service interactions, and conflict resolution.
