What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reconstruction Estimator position at Integrated Restoration Acquisitions LLC?
You read a scope and you see what’s missing. You know how adjusters think, and you’re not intimidated by a desk review or a line-item dispute. If you want to own estimates from first site walk to final approval by building airtight scopes, pushing supplements through, and getting paid what the job is actually worth. We’re seeking an Estimator who is precise, persistent, and knows what it takes to get a customer's property put back together.
This is a role for someone who already knows what’s in the walls before the PM does. You document everything because accuracy is how you operate, not because someone is auditing you. You follow up with adjusters without being asked. You don’t close a file until the scope is approved and the numbers make sense. When an estimate is yours, you own it from start to approval.
Our 24/7 restoration and cleaning services help homeowners, property managers, and businesses recover quickly and confidently.
We’re built on five core values:
- Communication – Clear, early, and often
- Learning – Constant improvement and certification
- Excellence – Every job, every time
- Accountability – Owning outcomes—and everyone who contributes to them
- Reliability – We do what we say
What You’ll Do
- Conduct site assessments and write complete, defensible Xactimate estimates for water mitigation, fire, mold, and reconstruction losses
- Negotiate scope and pricing with adjusters to secure fair, full approval—and supplement what’s incomplete
- Manage your own workflow: estimate submissions, supplement tracking, adjuster follow-up, and XactAnalysis SLA compliance
- Build project budgets that translate approved scope into cost targets Project Managers can actually execute against
- Collaborate with PMs to identify scope deviations and change orders as jobs unfold
- Secure Work Authorizations and maintain complete, organized documentation in Dash
- Build lasting adjuster relationships that generate referral business and preferred vendor positioning for Integrated Restoration
What Does Success Look Like?
- Your estimates are approved at a high rate, not because you’re conservative, but because they’re thorough and defensible
- Supplements are tracked, documented, and closed without anyone having to ask where they stand
- Adjusters call you because they know your scopes are accurate and your word is good
- PMs rarely come back with scope questions because your documentation answers them before they’re asked
- Estimate-to-actual cost variance is low because the scope was right the first time
- Your XactAnalysis compliance is clean, your DASH uploads are on time, and nothing falls through the cracks

- Familiar with XactAnalysis, DASH, and Cotality
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, or AMRT) strongly preferred
- Direct communicator who documents thoroughly and follows up without being chased
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent field experience accepted
- Self-sufficient and process-driven. You take an estimate, work it to close, and don’t need someone else to push it
