Job Responsibilities – Mitigation Technician
Mitigation Services:
1. Perform water removal, fire mitigation, and initiate mold remediation to restore properties to a safe condition for repairs.
2. Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the extent of water damage.
Monitoring and Documentation:
1. Ensure proper work authorizations and TPA specific action items are completed and recorded in DASH.
2. Maintain accurate documentation in job management software, including detailed notes, pictures, and dry logs for each project are recorded in MICA.
3. Continuously monitor the drying progress of buildings and their contents.
Communication:
1. Provide daily updates and communicate effectively with peers, homeowners, office staff, and managers.
2. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless workflow and successful project completion.
3. Immediately notify project manager and in certain circumstances, the homeowner, on any deviations from the original scope / estimate
Vehicle and Equipment Management:
1. Maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle, equipment, and warehouse.
2. Ensure the vehicle is always stocked with necessary equipment and materials for efficient work.
3. Promptly update the equipment tracker to ensure equipment is being accounted for and maintenance schedules are being adhered to.
On-Call and Emergency Services:
1. Willingly participate in on-call rotations for after-hours emergency services.
2. Respond promptly to emergency situations to mitigate further damage.
Team Leadership:
1. Lead and work with a team to accomplish restoration goals.
2. Utilize experience in managing teams of 2 or more effectively.
Other Duties:
1. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications And Requirements
1. 1 years of experience in water mitigation services.
2. IICRC certifications are a plus, or willingness to obtain (company-paid course).
3. High school graduate or equivalent.
4. Strong knowledge of insurance restoration processes.
5. Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
6. Proven ability to work independently and lead a team.
7. Experience in managing teams of 2 or more.
8. Strong technology skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
