What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sleep Technician position at Integrated Respiratory Solutions?
Integrated Respiratory Solutions has provided leadership in Sleep and Respiratory Health for 30 years. The company specializes in patient care for individuals with ALS, Cystic Fibrosis, and COPD.
The organization is expanding its Sleep Health Team and seeks a Sleep Technician to support patients, primarily through home visits, office visits and virtual set ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and educate patients on prescribed respiratory equipment, including CPAP, BiPAP, and specialty BiPAP devices.
- Provide thorough instructions for proper use, assembly, cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Drop and set-up respiratory equipment such as ventilators, cough assist, etc.
- Utilize remote monitoring to manage patient data and compliance programs in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate patient-related documentation using software such as Brightree and Apacheta.
- Engage with physicians and referral sources regarding equipment settings, qualifications, and guidelines.
- Address patient concerns and offer expert troubleshooting.
Required:
- BRPT license
- Experience with direct patient setups for PAP equipment
- Ability to demonstrate patience and professionalism
- Effective team collaboration skills
