Contract: 13 Weeks of contract
Shift: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday | 4×10
Pay Rate:
- Local: $70/hr on W2
- Travel: $2,940.28/Weekly
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide care to obstetric patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. Experience with fetal non-stress tests (NSTs) is highly valued, along with recent OB and/or Labor & Delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process.
- Perform assessments and monitor maternal and fetal status.
- Perform and interpret fetal NSTs according to established protocols.
- Monitor fetal heart rate and identify changes requiring clinical attention.
- Support obstetric procedures and collaborate with providers and the care team.
- Provide patient education, support, and guidance throughout care.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow safety protocols.
- Communicate changes in patient or fetal condition promptly to the appropriate care team.
Requirements
- 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years – Required
- BLS – Required
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required
- AWHONN – Required
- OB and/or Labor & Delivery experience
