Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Job Location: Scranton, PA- 18509
Duration: 3 months of Contract with possibilities of an extension or Temp to Hire
Shift: Mon-Fri (6:30 am – 3:00 pm) with rotating Sat (7:00 am – 12:00 pm) EST
Job Description:
- Min. 3 years of professional Phlebotomist experience is required.
- Perform blood draws safely and accurately.
- Label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
- Verify patient information and ensure specimen labels are correct before sending to the lab.
- Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections when required.
- Follow HIPAA, safety, and quality standards at all times.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and making patients feel comfortable.
- Help maintain smooth daily operations at assigned locations.
