Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care
Duration: 3 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Location: Sacramento, CA 95823
Shift Details: 8x5 Day Shift – 40 hrs
Pay Package:
Local Rate: $67/hour (W2)
Travel Package: $2900/week ($1640 Stipend)
Job Summary: The Registered Nurse – Wound Care will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating wound care treatments for patients. The RN will work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal wound healing and patient outcomes.
Duties:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wounds, ostomy, and continence care for patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on wound and ostomy management.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Perform advanced wound assessments and recommend appropriate interventions and products.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License CA & BLS Certification
- 1 year of Wound/Ostomy Care experience as RN – Current/Recent
- Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWOCN, or equivalent)
