Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Birmingham, AL 35217
Duration: 30 Weeks | Possible Extension
Schedule: PRN | 20–30 Hours per Month
Pay: $52/hr W2
Job Summary:
- The Staff Pharmacist will accurately process and dispense prescriptions while ensuring compliance with pharmacy policies, SOPs, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently process and dispense prescriptions.
- Maintain pharmacy records, licensing, and regulatory documentation.
- Review, update, and follow pharmacy policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Collaborate with pharmacy teams and Third-Party Logistics personnel to resolve operational and patient-related issues.
- Maintain exception reports and required regulatory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality assurance standards, Joint Commission (JCAHO) requirements, state/federal regulations, and GMPs where applicable.
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Recent 1 years of experience as pharmacist
- B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Active State Pharmacist License.
