Job Summary:

• We are seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician with a foundational understanding of analytical chemistry and laboratory practices. The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations by performing routine testing, handling small quantity measurements, and ensuring compliance with standard procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of samples using basic laboratory techniques.
• Perform small quantity measurements (mg, µg, ng) with precision and accuracy.
• Support chemical and biological testing under the supervision of senior staff.
• Follow environmental regulations and internal safety protocols.
• Maintain proper documentation of laboratory procedures and results.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Use basic computer applications for data entry and analysis.
• Support quality control and troubleshooting efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Preferred fields of study: Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline

Experience & Skills:

• Basic knowledge of analytical chemistry and laboratory concepts
• Familiarity with environmental regulations
• Competence in using computer applications (e.g., Excel, LIMS)
• Prior lab experience involving precise measurements of small quantities (mg, µg, ng) preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
