About the Role
Cincinnati is home base—and a core market for IPS.
We’re looking for a Sales Executive to expand, protect, and strategically grow our established Cincinnati presence. This role is ideal for a seasoned life-safety and security sales professional who already understands the Cincinnati market landscape, values long-term relationships, and knows how to win complex, high-trust business.
This is not a “build from scratch” role. This is a scale, deepen, and out-perform role—focused on key accounts, high-value opportunities, and continued market leadership across fire alarm and integrated security solutions.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Market Growth & Relationship Leadership

Drive continued growth in IPS’s established Cincinnati market, focusing on both new business and expansion of existing relationships.

Strengthen and grow partnerships with end users, GCs, electrical contractors, consultants, property managers, and AHJs.

Identify strategic opportunities across service, retrofit, system upgrades, and new construction.

Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers solve complex life-safety and security challenges.
Business Development & Sales Execution

Manage the full sales lifecycle—from opportunity identification through close.

Develop tailored solutions for fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, and integrated security systems.

Collaborate closely with IPS engineering, service, and project teams to ensure accurate, competitive, and executable proposals.

Maintain pipeline activity, forecasting, and reporting using IPS CRM tools.
Brand Stewardship & Internal Collaboration

Represent IPS as a market leader in Cincinnati through professionalism, integrity, and technical credibility.

Partner with leadership and operations to ensure seamless transition from sale to delivery.

Provide insight into local market trends, competitors, and customer needs to help guide strategy.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications

5 years of successful sales experience in the life safety and physical security industry.

Strong working knowledge of:

Fire Alarm Systems

Access Control

Video Surveillance
-
Integrated Life-Safety Solutions

Demonstrated experience selling in the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky market.

Established relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Proven ability to close complex, relationship-driven sales.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Preferred (But Not Required)

Experience managing or expanding key accounts in a mature market.

Background working with healthcare, education, industrial, or large commercial clients.

Familiarity with long-term service agreements and system lifecycle upgrades.
