Responsibilities & Expectations:
Responsible for properly handling all warranty claims including verification of serial numbers, part numbers warranty expiration dates.
- Gather all billing and start-up documents for units involved.
- Invoice all approved warranty claims.
- Analyze manufacture policy and rates to determine billable amounts.
- Data entry into internal system for all new claims.
- Mediate with manufacturers on claims that are denied.
- Provide manufacturers with information as needed.
- Request approvals from manufacturer vendor for out of warranty issues.
- Assist TAW dealers in filing warranty claims.
- Oversee all warranty parts and parts returns.
- Provide training to new personnel relating to warranties.
- Distribute applicable manufacture service bulletins.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; two years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate to advanced experience working with Microsoft Office products.
- Able to work in a fast paced, service-oriented environment.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and be detail oriented.
- Requires excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience with time entry, billing, scheduling and light accounting preferred.
- Prior experience working in the power generation industry or industrial environment desired.
