We are seeking a dedicated Switchgear Technician to re-certify MCC, Switchgear, and E-Houses to the customer’s specifications. In this position, your job duties will include changing MCC layouts and painting of the structures. This position requires a motivated, detail-oriented team member with the ability to learn quickly and work safely.

We are seeking a dedicated Switchgear Technician to re-certify MCC, Switchgear, and E-Houses to the customer’s specifications. In this position, your job duties will include changing MCC layouts and painting of the structures. This position requires a motivated, detail-oriented team member with the ability to learn quickly and work safely.
- Follow our engineering layout to build MCC, Switchgears, and E-Houses
- Responsible for painting MCC and Switchgears structures
- Field service work at client sites as needed
- Deliver product to other locations
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
- Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test and be trained on proper respirator protocol
- General understanding and firsthand experience with safe work environments
- Be able to read, interpret, and modify documents
- Ability to work overtime. Mandatory overtime is required based on business need
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an excellent driving record
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle throughout the assigned territory to transport product
- Ability to possess the following certifications: Pearl Level I and II, Forklift training, TSC Electrical Training Classes completed within one (1) year of hire date, Mine and Safety Administration (MSHA) Training, 10-30 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Card, In-house Training on individual machines in the shop
