Integrated Pain Associates (IPA) is a physician-led, multi-site pain management group dedicated to restoring function and improving quality of life for patients suffering from chronic pain. With clinics and surgical centers across Texas, IPA combines advanced interventional techniques with compassionate, patient-centered care.
Position Summary
The Physician Liaison will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong referral relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, hospitals, chiropractors, orthopedic and spine practices, urgent care centers, and community partners throughout the Abilene market. This role plays a key part in driving patient growth and increasing brand awareness within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain productive relationships with referring providers and healthcare organizations
- Conduct routine in-person outreach visits to physician offices and medical facilities
- Educate providers and staff on pain management services, procedures, and referral processes
- Develop strategic territory plans to increase referrals and market growth
- Coordinate provider meetings, educational events, and lunch-and-learn presentations
- Track referral activity, outreach efforts, and provider feedback
- Collaborate with physicians and leadership to support business development initiatives
- Represent the practice professionally at networking and community events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare marketing, physician liaison, pharmaceutical, or medical sales experience
- Pain management, orthopedics, spine, neurology, or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage territory independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Working Conditions
- Monday-Thursday 8AM-5PM CST
- Friday 8 AM - 2 PM
- Office setting and travel required
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
Bi-lingual is preferred.
