Job Summary
The Service and Installation Technician will repair and/or install a wide range of commercial doors and hardware. You will recommend improvements to the customers and upgrades to improve product functionality. Provide all services with the highest level of professionalism and customer service. And maintain truck inventory and cleanliness.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve customers by analyzing work orders; investigating customer issues; completing repair/installation; conducting tests; resolving problems.
- Drive to the job site to assess customer’s service/repair needs and complete repair of the product to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Consistently seek and promote opportunities for service, sales, and preventative maintenance contracts. Acquire knowledge of all products and pricing to price, market, and sell replacement products and repair parts.
- Develop mechanical skills, learn new techniques, and remain current with product requirements for installation materials to meet safety specifications and maintain quality workmanship.
- Ensure that service and installation documentation is submitted complete, accurately and timely. Includes, but not limited to work orders, timesheets, etc.
- Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
- Maintain inventory, cleanliness and maintenance of company vehicle
- Any other duties as assigned

- Experience installing and servicing commercial doors
- Valid professional driver’s license
- Clean motor vehicle record
- High school degree
- No Supervisory Responsibilities.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and wet/humid weather
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and maintain focus
