Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods and materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all transportation management systems and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control processes within warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms, including order picking, packing, shipping & receiving, and inventory replenishment.
- Oversee warehouse distribution activities such as materials handling, category management, and packaging to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to support demand planning, pricing strategies, and procurement processes for materials and freight services.
- Maintain accurate documentation for NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), freight shipments, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers, and other logistics partners.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory management, warehouse experience, and operations management.
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management system (WMS), .
- Experience with freight forwarding, shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and materials handling techniques.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required.
- Excellent data analysis skills coupled with familiarity in demand planning, procurement, sourcing, and category management.
- Effective communication skills for dispatching, customer service interactions, and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools is a plus for maintenance-related tasks within logistics operations.
