A growing healthcare practice in the Walnut Creek area is seeking a part-time Personal Chef & Executive Assistant to support business operations. This is an independent contractor (1099) role ideal for a culinary-skilled professional who also enjoys light administrative and organizational tasks.
Availability Needed: Flexible, several times per week during business hours
Compensation: $35β$65/hr, commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
π©βπ³ Culinary / Catering
- Plan and prepare meals and refreshments for business / board meetings
- Coordinate grocery shopping, meal prep, and kitchen cleanup
- Manage food inventory, restock supplies, and organize refrigerator/pantry
- Accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions of staff and guests
- Prepare occasional individual lunches for principals as requested
ποΈ Executive & Office Assistance
- Light organizational tasks (supply management, vendor coordination, errands)
- Wellness support (e.g., preparing beverages, organizing supplement/shake deliveries)
- Ad hoc administrative or operational support as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a private chef, caterer, or culinary professional
- Experience in corporate or private catering preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and discreet
- Fluent English speaker
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Food handler's certification preferred (ServSafe or equivalent)
- Available to work in the Walnut Creek, CA area
