What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambulance Dispatcher CSR position at Integrated Medical Transport?
Integrated Medical Transport is the fastest growing Non-Emergent Medical Transport agency in PA. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team. As an ambulance trip acquisition and dispatching specialist, you will coordinate with our team and contracted facilities to organize scheduled trips in the system.
The position’s duties include:
· Customer service and trip intake assistance.
· Arrange and route vehicles efficiently.
· Build strong relationships within the Healthcare communities and our team.
· Command and control leadership of multiple resources under supervision.
· Answering incoming calls and determining the best route of action.
· Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Computer skills including Excel and web based portals
- Strong directional and geographical map abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and emergency medicine procedures (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic EMS billing practices (preferred)
- Knowledge of emergency and non-emergency EMS operations (preferred)
