What will you be doing:
The Referral Coordinator After Hours is responsible for processing, evaluating, and coordinating patient referrals for DME and home health services during after-hours, weekends, and holidays, ensuring the efficient and timely coordination of patient care outside of regular business hours. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant referral management while facilitating communication between healthcare providers, patients, and payers. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of home health services and State and Federal regulations.
What will you need to succeed:
- 1 years of intake referrals experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skill
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- Certification a plus
