What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Automation Technician (1+ Years Experience Required) position at Integrated Home?
Integrated Home provides custom a/v design and installations, home automation systems, wireless systems, security systems, and custom theaters for the luxury residential market. We are seeking full time opportunities for candidates with experience or technical knowledge to learn and grow with our company.
Candidate must possess basic and general understanding of the following:
- programming, protocols and methods, such as IRRS, 232 and networking
- consumer, electronics industry, IEC and other related systems, such as lighting, control video and audio distribution network, segmentation and wireless networks
- surround sound, receivers, security, cameras, and other integrated components
This position requires that you report to the job site locations and be able to do the following:
- able to perform service calls and installs (hard and soft labor)
- experienced in troubleshooting different devices (audio and video, cameras, access control, network)
- install and program devices for new installation and/or service call
Ideal candidate must have experience working in the following platforms - Control 4, Savant, Lutron.
Must possess interpersonal personal skills to communicate with field technicians, installers in the field and liaise to office, documentation and organization of logic
Must be prepared and ready to work in a challenging environment.
Candidates MUST have reliable transportation and have his own tools. MUST has clean driving record as we have work vehicles that from time to time they might need to drive.

Our general work area is in Los Angeles County - mainly Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Bel Air, San Fernando Valley, Malibu and other surrounding areas. However we do have projects that are outside this general location and we need to make sure that candidate can travel if needed and be at a job site outside this area for weeks at a time (employer will provide reasonable hotel/motel accommodation).
Rate of pay specified in this Ad is negotiable and DOE
