What will you be doing:
Assist both Billing and Collections department in special projects. Reviews, identifies and updates duplicate member
accounts, insurance eligibility and updates billing records.
What will you need to succeed:
- 1 year of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- Medical Biller/Coder certification highly desired
